I am allergic to everything. Okay-not everything, but some of my allergies made shopping for skin and hair care products frustrating. I wasn't able to find products I liked using that were safe for me.
I love solving problems and finding ways to improve literally everything. I decided to learn how to make skin and hair care products I wanted to use that weren't going to cause reactions. Not only did I solve some of my skin problems, I discovered the joy of formulating skin and hair care products. I love working with a growing range of ingredients and discovering the possibilities.

My family and friends have been willing and supportive test subjects and encouraged me to start selling my concoctions so they would have a steady supply of their favorites.

CocoNOT! 100% Olive Oil Castile Soap is a coconut-free, true castile soap made with just three simple ingredients. It is fragrance-free, preservative-free, and gentle enough for sensitive skin and those with coconut allergy or sensitivity. It is a versatile and effective cleanser that can be used for personal care and many cleaning tasks around the house.
Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil; Deionized Water; Potassium Hydroxide (lye*).
*Lye creates the chemical reaction that turns oils and fats into soap. as the oils are saponified, the lye is neutralized ("used up"), leaving no more caustic lye in the finished product.
To Use: Apply to wet hands, washcloth or bath puff and later up. Use liquid soap for handwashing or body washing. Can be used for shampooing hair, though a suitable hair rinse or conditioner is recommended afterwards.
Castile soap is suitable for use on pets and children (keep suds out of eyes and ears!). Castile soap can be used for household cleaning, including washing dishes* and non-porous surfaces, indoors or out.
